Course outline:

 

This course is designed to familiarize participants with the content of the GCCS-2 software standard. GM has requirements regarding the structure and content of its PLC software logic used in its manufacturing facilities. This course will provide learners with a working knowledge of these requirements.

This course is part of GM Global Certification Program; to be provided by NEXON AUTOMATION, a GM approved trained partner; and certified by the Macomb Community College, the official training center.

About the course:

This course is required for all engineers involved in the programming, servicing or deployment of automation controllers installed in any General Motors’ production assets.

Attendee may need to probe he/she works for an approved GM Contractor.
